Coral is a BIPOC San Francisco native with over 25 years of professional experience working with babies. She began her path towards Birth Work as a nanny and after her own transformative birthing experience of her daughter, she chose to began working towards her goal of being a Birth Doula with DONA. On this journey she continued to discover many exciting opportunities to deepen her understanding of what it means to truly support and effect change when working together with families as they grow themselves. She began to take a vast array of seminars and classes, joining groups to firmly root herself into her community, reading books and studying different cultural ways of birthing and caring for newborns around the world. She continues to learn more and uses these valuable experiences and certifications to share with her clients and show a world of different options, birthing rituals and techniques that can shorten labor, lessen discomfort, expedite healing using herbal remedies, and a healthy body through evidence based information all while committing to support you emotionally and talk about the many options available to you as you embark on your own path as a parent, She is a gentle yet extremely strong advocate for informed consent during birth, an excellent team player with all members of your birth team in whatever setting to ensure focus on your experience is respected and honored in every aspect.
