I am a BIPOC San Francisco native with over 25 years of professional experience working with babies. I began my path towards Birth Work as a nanny and after my own transformative path as a parent. I chose to begin working towards my goal of being a Birth and Postpartum Doula. On this journey, I continued to discover many exciting opportunities to deepen my understanding of what it means to truly support and effect change when working together with families as they grow themselves. I began to take a vast array of seminars and classes, joining groups to firmly root myself into my community, reading books, and studying different cultural ways of birthing and caring for newborns around the world. I continue to learn more and use these valuable experiences and certifications to share with my clients and show a world of different options, birthing rituals, and techniques that can shorten labor, lessen discomfort, expedite healing using herbal remedies, and a healthy body through evidence-based information all while committing to support you emotionally and talk about the many options available to you as you embark on your own path as a parent, I am an advocate for informed consent during birth, an excellent team player to ensure focus with all members of your birth team to ensure focus on your experience is respected and honored in every aspect.
Coral is a compassionate, positive, knowledgeable Doula that shares her heart and soul along with providing evidence-based support to each Birth and Postpartum experience. She has a passion for being a part of your Birth journey as you envision it and strives to help you make the transition into parenthood as seamless as possible. By preparing you with resources, books, classes, Parenting Groups, and emotional support she ensures you feel confident and fully supported during this transformation so you can enjoy your unique birth experience. What people are saying
I hired Coral to encapsulate my placenta and she was wonderful! She went above and beyond to also consult with me about birth preferences and FaceTime during active labor to show positions to help labor progress (which worked!). Her upbeat, friendly personality took any stress out of talking about birth. She was very supportive and respectful, and I would absolutely recommend her as a birth doula.

Our placenta is an incredible organ that nourished your baby during her time in utero. So instead of wasting those valuable nutrients by throwing the placenta away after she’s born, doesn’t it make more sense to put them back into your body?
My role as your Doula
As your Doula it is my commitment to help you understand your pregnant body, to constantly support you physically and emotionally during labor and delivery, provide evidence-based guidance to your experience and share with you what you may experience during this amazing time. I will be there to guide you towards a birth experience where you feel empowered, heard, valued, and ready to meet your baby. My place on your birth team allows you to connect with your body, tune out negative or fearful associations, and allow your own strength to emerge to guide you towards a harmonious birth experience.
